Big Gipp recently spoke to 'Art of Dialogue' and told a story about Bizzy Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony being robbed.
According to Gipp, while they were at a hotel called the Nico on La Cienega in Hollywood, there were a series of robberies taking place. Gipp believes that during that time, anyone in Los Angeles was susceptible to getting robbed, including celebrities and NBA players.
In order to protect themselves, many NBA players would have someone with them for protection and respect in the streets. Gipp then said that knowing how to move in LA is crucial to avoid getting targeted. He also emphasized that it's not just celebrities who fall victim to theft; even regular people staying at hotels can be robbed by hotel cleaners. Gipp then said people with expensive jewelry are particularly at risk, as anyone can become a target if they are not careful.
