In a span of two weeks, during late July, Shannon Sharpe exited Undisputed after securing a buyout with FSI, and ESPN dropped a bombshell on the sports world with companywide layoffs that included big names such as Max Kellerman, Jalen Rose, Jeff Van Gundy, and Keyshawn Johnson. The latter co-hosted ESPN's #1 radio show, Keyshawn, JWill and Max, for three years at ESPN Studio in Manhattan, New York. At the time, news of the breakup devasted fans of the show, but Keyshawn's free agency period didn't last long. The former number one overall pick in the 1996 NFL Draft has agreed to a deal with FS1 to join the new lineup of debate partners opposite Skip Bayless. Keyshawn figures to be the final piece of a puzzle that now includes Lil Wayne, Richard Sherman, Rachel Nichols, and Michael Irvin. Undisputed returns on August 28th.
