Donald Trump is set to turn himself in at the Fulton County jail on Thursday (August 24) evening, and he's expected to be booked on more than a dozen charges stemming from his efforts to reverse Georgia’s 2020 election results.
Ahead of Trump being booked, it has been revealed that he has replaced his attorney, Drew Findling, with Steven Sadow, an Atlanta-based attorney. Sadow also represented Gunna in the YSL RICO case, where the "Fukumean" rapper was released on an Alford plea deal.
Sadow released a statement following the news, "I have been retained to represent President Trump in the Fulton County, Georgia case. The president should never have been indicted. He is innocent of all the charges brought against him. We look forward to the case being dismissed or, if necessary, an unbiased, open minded jury finding the president not guilty. Prosecutions intended to advance or serve the ambitions and careers of the president's political opponents have no place in our justice system."
