Last weekend, Southern California residents endured Hurricane Hillary, which flooded some neighborhoods. But on the other side of the world, in Saudi Arabia, people encountered a natural disaster on a much larger scale. Video footage from the holy city of Mecca depicts the locals screaming and running for cover amid swirling winds, heavy rainfall, flooded streets, and lightning from above. Cameras also captured footage of lighting hitting the Fairmont Makkah Clock Royal Tower so vividly that it almost looked unreal.
