Bronny James has been diagnosed with a congenital heart defect which doctors believe caused the USC star to go into cardiac arrest.
The good news is Bronny is expected to make a full recovery and could make a possible return to the basketball court. "It is an anatomically and functionally significant Congenital Heart Defect which can and will be treated," the James family said in a statement.
Bronny's diagnosis comes on the heels of several visits to the Mayo Clinic and other medical institutions in hopes of getting to the bottom of his health concerns. Despite the health scare, Bronny was recently seen escorting Drake to the stage at one of his LA shows alongside his father, LeBron.
