Jacquees recently sat down with Baller Alert and spoke about his career, along with hot topics that the singer went viral for. One of the topics found the singer addressing the ‘King of R&B’ claim, noting things “went left” after taking ownership of the crown.
“I was trying to figure out where I went left with the internet. But it was when said I was King of R&B,” said the artist. After laughing about it, the singer was then asked if he felt the same about claiming the title. Jacquees responded, “Of course! I’ma feel like that forever. You don’t say you’re the best and then one day you’re like, ‘Okay, I’m not the best no more.’ [You should feel that way] until you retire.” Watch above.
