Recently, U.S. sprinter Noah Lyles made waves in the world athletic championships in Budapest on the track and off-track after making comments about NBA players calling themselves “world champions” after winning an NBA title.

Lyles said, “You know what hurts me the most is that I have to watch the NBA Finals, and they have ‘world champion’ on their head. World champion of what? The United States?”

The comments went viral, causing numerous NBA players to get at Lyles. Via social media, the Phoenix Suns’ Kevin Durant and Devin Booker commented, with Durant saying, “Somebody help this brother,” while Booker put up a face-palm emoji. Damian Lillard commented, saying, “Tf 😂.” Take a look above.
