LL Cool J has been touring with The Roots and performing his classic songs as well as paying homage to Hip-Hop legends by performing their songs as well. During a recent tour stop, LL paid homage to Whodini, then delivered some sharp words to veteran rappers who pose themselves as “mystery men.”
“Let me shout it out to all you rappers trying to play mystery man-- stop f**kin’ up your legacy. Get on this goddamn stage, man,” said the legendary Queens emcee. The viral clip had many fans speculating on if the rapper was speaking about Jay-Z, among others. Watch above.
