During the trial, Kelsey asserted she wasn't the shooter and even suggested witness tampering had occurred, with her initial testimony implicating Lanez being dismissed as unremembered. Despite the strong case against him, Lanez didn't take a plea deal, which some believe was fueled by support from fans on social media.
