According to reports, Tampa Bay Rays shortstop Wander Franco is being investigated by authorities in the Dominican Republic for another relationship with an underage girl.
The details regarding the situation remain scant although three underage girls have gone to authorities saying they were engaged in a relationship with Franco.
Franco was placed on administrative leave last week after news surfaced about his relationship with a 14-year-old girl, in addition to a lawsuit was filed last month by another girl claiming she was 17 years old when she got involved with Franco.
The investigations will likely keep Franco out for the remainder of the 2023 season.
