In this clip, Vlad and Boosie discuss the significance of self-representation in court, especially related to serious charges such as those involving violence or murder. Vlad recalled the case of a black female lawyer who refused to continue representing Tory Lanez, who planned to use an unorthodox defense strategy in a murder case. He reiterated that, despite legal counsel recommending against it, taking the stand can sometimes be key when declaring innocence and persuading the jury. He mentioned Travis Rudolph and Hurricane Chris, both of whom took the stand despite facing life sentences. Even though juries can be partial against defendants who remain silent, judges often perceive those who take the stand as trustworthy. Boosie concluded that even seemingly lenient sentences can drastically alter a person's life, highlighting the gravity of such decisions.
