Method Man has been displaying his acting skills heavily over the course of the last decade, with the artist standing out for his role in ‘Power.’ Now, it appears the legendary member of the Wu-Tang Clan has his sights set on another endeavor in the acting world: Marvel.
While speaking with CASSIUS, Method Man clarified that he is trying to enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It was noted Meth was in talks to play Bishop in an upcoming X-Men movie. The role was previously played by Omar Sy of ‘Lupin’ fame.
“I was just putting it out there to see if I could hook something,” said Method Man. The artist continued, “I think Omar Sy did an excellent job as Bishop, but that was before MCU. If they chose him again, I think he’d kill it.” He then said, “There’s a few people out there. But if they’re willing to give me a shot, I’d go for it. Plus, I’ve done all the research already.”
