--------
Fred 'The Hammer' Williamson talks about the relationship he had with Sammy Davis Jr., indicating how Davis was lined up for a movie called "Black Caesar." However, the limited budget of the project meant that they couldn't accommodate Davis' 75-person entourage, causing Davis to opt out of the film. Williamson also shared that his films are more popular in Europe than in America due to perceptions of his roles. In Europe, he is seen as an actor without racial tags. He also noted that all of his films have been financially successful. Additionally, Williamson mentioned that music legend James Brown took only $5 to score for "Black Caesar," retaining all rights to his music. Williamson refers to himself as a 'deal maker' in Hollywood, ensuring artists retain all royalties from his films.
