Passengers on a recent Delta Airlines flight from Atlanta to Barcelona were in for an unpleasant surprise as the journey took an unexpected turn due to a rather extreme situation. The airline has now revealed disturbing new details regarding the incident that led to the plane being forced to turn around. According to Delta, a passenger on the flight had explosive diarrhea throughout the entire plane, causing the pilot to consider the situation a biohazard.
As a result, the aircraft promptly returned to Atlanta, landing more than two hours after its departure. Unfortunately for the other travelers, this unforeseen event caused a delay of over eight hours before the flight eventually took off and reached its intended destination in Barcelona on Saturday night.
