Carl Jones shared his personal thoughts regarding his break up with Erykah Badu and how he was influenced by his creative ex-partner. He stated that not all relationships are meant to last forever and while he acknowledged that they had their good times, they reached a point where a break-up was necessary. Importantly, he highlighted that his ex is an amazing, creative individual who inspires others to explore their creativity, thus explaining Andre 3000's fashion metamorphosis during their time together. He warmly accepted that she even sparked his own creativity even though he didn't embrace the eccentric fashion style as strongly as other people she influenced.
