A former coach in Orange County, CA has been sentenced to 150 years to life behind bars.
The disturbing details of this case date back to 2005. The coach, who worked at American Day High School and other places in Orange County, was charged with sexually abusing four young female athletes. One of the girls was forced to run topless at private practices while another was promised more playing time in exchange for sexual acts. The youngest victim was just 11 years old, while the oldest was 17.
After a trial, the Orange County jury found the coach guilty of 10 felony counts of lewd acts upon a child under 14, seven felony counts of lewd acts upon a child, and two additional felony counts.
