During Tyrese's sit-down on The Breakfast Club on Thursday (September 7) morning, things got heated between him and DJ Envy regarding their past interactions. The conversation touched on topics such as marriage, divorce, and personal growth, and Envy brought up how Tyrese was involved in his and his wife's life during a rough patch in their marriage.
They both reflect on past conversations, both private and public, and explain how their opinions of each other were based on what they knew and saw. DJ Envy and Tyrese also discussed their disagreements and the need to take a step back from their friend, ultimately resulting in a lack of respect for one another.
At one point, DJ Envy confronted Tyrese for alleged inappropriate remarks that he made to Envy's wife, which led to him being blocked on both of their phones. DJ Envy added that he only unblocked Tyrese recently at the advice of Charlamagne Tha God.
While DJ Envy didn't reveal what Tyrese said to Envy's wife, he did tell Tyrese that it was offensive enough that it "made me want to box your mouth."
