Juvenile attended the 2023 BMI R&B/Hip Hop Awards in Miami on Wednesday (September 6), where he was asked about Lil Wayne claiming that Jay-Z is the GOAT rapper.
Juvenile stated that he disagrees with Wayne, and he added that he's told Lil Wayne many times that he's the greatest rapper of all-time. He stated, "We’ve argued over the years. He say JAY-Z the G.O.A.T., I say he the G.O.A.T. My lil’ bro the greatest rapper of all time. He know how I feel about that."
Lil Wayne was honored with the BMI Icon award during the show. He was previously named BMI Songwriter Of The Year on four different occasions, and Wayne has 53 BMI Awards in total.
