More details have emerged from Tory Lanez's case one month after the music artist was sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting Megan Thee Stallion. VladTV has learned from sources close to the case that the district attorney offered Tory Lanez a four-year plea deal earlier in the case.
Tory Lanez rejected the plea deal and decided to take the case to trial. The decision ultimately cost the rapper additional time as he was sentenced to 10 years after being convicted of multiple felonies stemming from shooting Megan Thee Stallion.
The shooting occurred in the summer of 2020 after a party at Kylie Jenner's house. Megan Thee Stallion testified that Tory Lanez shot at the back of her feet and demanded her to dance as she walked away following an argument.
Tory Lanez has been behind bars since December 2022, when he was found guilty of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, having a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.
