Lil Reese has followed through with his promise to give back to the homeless after he was caught up in controversy when someone poured a drink on a homeless man's head.
Reese shared an apology after posting the incident on his Instagram Stories, writing, "I would like to apologize to my fans and everybody watching for recording and laughing while they were pouring water on the homeless man in the video. I do not support or condone that type of behavior in anyway [sic]."
Lil Reese went on to say, "I will be giving away money to the homeless community as well as giving away food, clothes, and water twice a month going forward."
DJ U shared footage of him and Lil Reese handing out a stack of cash to homeless people, as well as providing them with food.

Lil Reese came under fire earlier this week after he posted a video on his Instagram Stories that appeared to show him pouring a drink on a homeless man's head. Social media users slammed Lil Reese for the video, and his comments section was filled with people asking if he was going to apologize.
On Friday (September 8), Lil Reese issued an apology on his Instagram Stories. He wrote, "I would like to apologize to my fans and everybody watching for recording and laughing while they were pouring water on the homeless man in the video. Chicago rapper Lil Reese is facing backlash after posting a video on his Instagram Stories while walking around with friends.
In the video, Lil Reese points the camera at himself, showing that he's drinking what appears to be a beer while walking down the street. Lil Reese then points the camera at a homeless man sleeping on the street.
From there, Lil Reese proceeds to pour the beer on the homeless man's head, while another man grabs the homeless man's head. The homeless man then tells Lil Reese, "Don't do that, man! That ain't right, man!"
