Steve Harvey set the record straight about his marriage to his wife Marjorie on his morning radio show on Monday (September 11).
Steve told listeners that people are claiming that Marjorie "ruined" his previous marriage to Mary Shackelford. Steve explained that he reconnected with Marjorie after his divorce, and he stated that he had "nothing" when they met.
From there, Steve explained that Marjorie stuck by his side when he was rebuilding himself and going through trials, including owing millions to the IRS because someone had stolen his tax returns for years. Steve went on to speak about how Marjorie supported and uplifted him while he started seeing huge strides in his career, including writing the best-selling "Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man" book.
