On Thursday morning, Tory Lanez (aka Daystar Peterson) appeared in bail court in Los Angeles to appeal his convictions for three felonies stemming from an incident when he shot Megan Thee Stallion in the foot. His lawyer, Crystal A. Morgan, argued that her client should be freed, pending an appeal of his conviction, because he does not pose a threat to the public, and he needs to work and provide for his family. Unfortunately for the Tory Lanez, Superior Court Judge Herriford denied the motion for bail. Now, the 30-year-old is headed to state prison for ten years and could also face deportation back to his native country of Canada.
