DJ Envy highlighted his most memorable radio interviews throughout his career. Among the interviews that stood out, he mentioned his conversations with fresh, new artists and veteran ones who have seen it all and can just relax into an open conversation. One of his favorites was his chat with Fat Joe, who Envy says is a fantastic storyteller. An interview with Louis Farrakhan, which he was initially hesitant to take, turned out to be a great, enlightening conversation. Meeting and interviewing Barack Obama, as well as Hillary Clinton, were high points of his career. Envy amusingly recalled a chance encounter with Prince at The Breakfast Club, where they took a picture of the star that mysteriously vanished, leaving them with no documentation of the encounter.
