A video has gone viral out of Mexico that shows two people being fatally struck by lightning as a storm pops up on a beach.
According to TMZ, the tragic incident happened on the Pacific coast state of Michoacán on Monday (September 18). The video shows people packing up an umbrella as the storm rolls in, which is when lightning strikes one of the people. The lightning then traveled in the sand to another person, fatally striking them.
The Spanish media outlet MARCA revealed that the victims were a man and a woman, who died instantly, while the man later died at the hospital. One of the victims was a tourist, and the other sold hammocks.
