The funeral for Julian Sevillano, the 39-year-old Ecuadorian cartel boss known as "El Fatal," is making the rounds online after he was buried with hundreds of guns.
Sevillano and his 20-year-old daughter were ambushed by gunmen while at a car wash last Wednesday. Local media outlet El Nacion reported that it's suspected his murder was retaliation for his past killings, as Sevillano had a criminal record for murder.
Sevillano's family refused to hand his body and the body of his daughter over to authorities, and they had a funeral the following day. Images from the funeral show people placing guns into Sevillano's casket so he could be "armed to the teeth in the afterlife and could defend himself."
