When B.G. was in his prime with the Hot Boys at Cash Money Records, his fellow Louisiana native, Boosie, was just a teenager who had never released a solo album. Things have changed a great deal in the past two decades. B.G. was incarcerated for 14 years up until a few weeks ago, while Boosie has enjoyed the peak of his success as a rapper on social media personality with a net worth of approximately $10 million. Now that B.G. is a freeman, his friend and mentor, Birdman, has already hinted that his former protégé is working on a new album.
Boosie recently took to IG, to share a snippet of his verse on an upcoming song by B.G. While no release date has been set, the preview has fans excited about what else B.G. has in the works.
