Tory Lanez is being housed at a California State Prison that isn't known for being an oasis for inmates. On the contrary, the facility at North Kern State Prison in Delano, California is notoriously dangerous for those locked behind its walls. According to reports, multiple inmates have been murdered at North Kern this year alone.
A few of the higher profile cases coming out of North Kern this year include convicted serial killer Ramon Escobar murdering his cellmate. Officials are also investigating the death of 25-year-old Ricardo Saldivar who was found dead in his cell on July 4. What's more, North Kern has seen its share of violence between inmates and correctional officers.
TMZ reports that Tory will have the opportunity to stay out of trouble through skilled or unskilled labor jobs that will pay anywhere between $0.08 to $0.30/hour.
