In Michael Jordan's final years as the majority owner of the Charlotte Hornets, the supporting cast that he assembled to support his star players, LaMelo Ball and Miles Bridges, have been questionable at best. His lottery picks in 2021 and 2022, James Bouknight and Mark Williams have struggled to maintain their spots in the rotation. Many pundits have questioned the Hornets' decision to draft Bradon Miller with the #2 overall pick in this year's NBA Draft over Scoot Henderson. And then there's Kai Jones, yet another first-round selection by the Charlotte Hornets, who barely played 10 minutes per game last season. Despite his lack of playing time, the 6'11" small forward has carved a niche on social media with dramatic photos and videos. The outgoing power forward recently went viral for the second time in two weeks. This time around, Michael Jordan's draft pick from 2021 could be seen hitting the splits in front of his yellow Lamborghini before twerking.
