Recently, footage surfaced of Drake speaking about Atlanta during his stop in the city for his ‘It’s All a Blur’ tour. The rapper went on to say, “What would any of us be without Atlanta? All the love that you’ve shown, all the musicians that you birthed, all the contributions that you give. This is hands-down the most important place in rap music. And you should be very proud of yourselves.”

Now, more footage from the rapper’s show surfaced, with him paying homage to the late Takeoff of Migos. Drake explained that hopping on the remix to Migos’ “Versace” and spending time with Takeoff is one of his first memories in Atlanta. From there, Drake said, “Rest in Peace to my brother Take off, that’s one of my first memories,” before noting Atlanta showed him love. Watch above.
