On September 18th, Ovidio Guzmán (aka The Mouse) was ushered into the Dirksen United States Courthouse in Chicago for his first judicial hearing since being extradited from Mexico. Ovidio is one of El Chapo's five sons, a group of siblings nicknamed "Los Chapitos." The 33-year-old pleaded not guilty to drug charges and a money laundering operation that led to the death of 29 people. Although the death penalty has been removed from the equation, Ovidio still faces the possibility of a life sentence. He will be held without bond until his next hearing on November 17th.
Before the hearing on September 18th, authorities snapped Ovidio's mugshot. The wide-eyed druglord was wearing an orange jumpsuit while in shackles.
