The late rapper's stepbrother revealed that the rap artist was close to being cast in the Star Wars franchise. Furthermore, it was also stated that Tupac was being considered for Will Smith's role in Independence Day. This was possibly due to his friendship with Samuel L. Jackson, who wanted Tupac cast in Star Wars.
