In this clip, Lavar Ball shared his journey from basketball to football, recalling how he was scouted by the New York Jets while playing in a summer pro league. He then transitioned to football, impressing scouts with his physical prowess. However, his stint in the NFL was brief, with politics playing a role in his decision to leave. He never developed a real passion for it, instead seeing it as a stepping stone in life. Subsequently, he launched Big Ballers training and moved to Chino Hills. He also spoke about meeting his future wife, Tina, at Cal State, LA. He gleefully remembered confidently walking up to Tina, declaring they were going to do "something" together before sauntering off. Despite societal attitudes towards mixed-race couples in the '90s, Lavar dismissed it as a non-issue.
