--------

Lavar Ball discusses the skills of his son, Lonzo Ball that made him a basketball star, first at Chino Hills High School and then at UCLA. He also makes mention of why he believes one of his other sons, LiAngelo, deserved to be in McDonald’s All-American team but was passed over unjustly. His son, LaMelo, Lavar says, potentially had a route to the NBA through high school but had to get his degree first. He also discusses how he advised his sons to choose their college wisely to suit their lifestyle. Lavar reasoned that being close to home would enable them easy access to practice games while studying. He ardently stresses his strategy of keeping his kids connected to their home base and building on their repute, which he believes is a path to success.
