Former FBI agent Mike Campi detailed his experiences interacting with violent criminals throughout his career. Using his training and skills, Mike was able to get up close with psychopaths and individuals involved in criminal activities without fearing for his life. This tactic helped him gather evidence and insights into their operations, aiding in eventual arrests. An interesting event cited was—a group of criminals leaning on the parked surveillance van discussing a potential robbery, oblivious to Mike’s presence inside the vehicle. Dan Dorsky stressed how such interactions can be fraught with danger, recalling incidents when law enforcement agents were killed. However, Dan explained that such acts had caused a backlash, not just from law enforcement but even within criminal organizations who perceived such actions as crossing lines and inviting unwanted conflict. Both suggested lawless societies with rampant crime needed stronger law enforcement to prevent further decline into chaos.
