At the age of 26-years-old, Austin Theory is one of the brightest stars in the WWE. Last Spring, the former United States Champion defeated his idol, John Cena, at Wrestlemania 39 in Sofi Stadium (Inglewood, California). Five months later, his viral moment with The Rock at Smackdown in Denver, Colorado, helped the WWE's flagship program garner the second-highest ratings of televised series this year.
Long before Austin Theory made his mark in the WWE, he was an amateur wrestler making moves in the independent circuit of his home state, Georgia. At some point during his teens, Austin Theory crossed paths with fellow Georgia natives T.I. and Jeezy. Back then, the unknown wrestler received a photo op with the two trap rap icons. Nearly eight years later, that photo has gone viral.
