Issues between singer Tink and producer Hitmaka arose after news surfaced of an alleged altercation between the two. Tink took to social media to clear up the rumors, noting a physical altercation between her and Hitmaka amid a breakup in Cancun, Mexico.
Tink then fired back, saying Hitmaka allegedly asked her for $2 million to produce her ‘Winter’s Diary 5’ project. The request from the producer sparked the fallout, and Tink noted Hitmaka never put his hands on her during their altercation.
Now, Hitmaka has addressed the situation while at the 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards. “It wasn't really no issue with me or whatever, you know? Things happened, things transpired, she went to the Internet, said what she said. You know, I mean, it wasn't nothing on my end, you know? It's regular, and I got mad love and respect for her.,” said the producer while speaking to The Neighborhood Talk.
Hitmaka continued, saying, “I appreciate everything we did. It's more embarrassing than anything to be out there and look like that. But you know what I mean? I'm Yung Berg, Hitmaka, I done been out there. All my story's out the closet so, s***, you know, it is what it is.” Watch above.
