Some of the most infamous prisons and jails in the rap community are San Quentin State Prison, Rikers Island, Fulton County Jail, Los Angeles County Jail, and Cook County Jail. The latter has hosted Chicago rappers such as Rico Recklezz, King Lil Jay, Lil Durk, and the late King Von.
Last year, Rico Recklezz and his artist Emol Samo went viral for an interview with VladTV about the crazy happenings (fights, r***, etc) behind bars at Cook County Jail. This year, Cook County Jail has been the subject of controversy on numerous occasions because of leaked footage depicting King Von in multiple fights and King Lil Jay allegedly snuggling up with a trans inmate.
This week, yet another video clip from Cook County Jail has gone viral. This time, it shows a few inmates choking out an officer before pulling them into a room.
