In this clip, John "Boxer" Mendoza discussed returning to criminal activities in 1996 after being released from prison. He recounted an altercation where an argument with his daughter's mother led him to a confrontation with a man across the street. Armed with a concealed box cutter, he attacked the man, causing a serious neck wound. He then chased another individual to a nearby Walgreens. However, this person managed to escape. Following the incident and despite a potential third-strike arrest, the police, who were informed of the altercation that night, never managed to catch up with him. For reasons unknown, those involved disappeared, and no subsequent official action was taken. Mendoza managed to mitigate a third-strike conviction by accepting a four-year plea deal. His other potential victims' whereabouts and conditions remain unknown.
