Drake previously claimed that 21 Savage got his green card and can now travel outside the United States. The revelation came while Drake rapped on his song ‘8AM in Charlotte,’ saying: “Savage got a green card straight out of the consulate. Where I go, you go, brother, we Yugoslavian.” Now, it has been revealed that the rapper wasn’t allowed into Canada for a big show in Toronto with Drake.
21 was supposed to appear at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto this past Friday night, but Lil Baby was brought to the show instead of the rapper.
At first, the reason behind 21 not being able to perform was unknown, but sources who spoke to TMZ revealed 21 was denied entry to Canada at the last minute by officials. The reason why wasn’t made clear. Stay tuned for more updates.
