Queen Latifah previously commented that Tupac was responsible for creating the iconic Humpty Dance. This sparked a response from Money B, a member of the group Digital Underground, who clarified the origins of the dance and highlighted the potential damage of such a statement.

Money-B, who considers Queen Latifah a sister and had toured with her in the past, was taken aback by her comments. He emphasized that the story was wholly untrue and questioned where Latifah had heard it from. He explained that the dance was actually created by his brother and himself, inspired by the earthquake that hit the San Francisco Bay area in 1989. Tupac had not even joined Digital Underground until the following year, and he had no involvement in creating the dance.

Money-B expressed concern over the power of Latifah's words and her influence within the culture. He pointed out that when someone as influential as Queen Latifah says something, it becomes accepted as truth, even if it isn't accurate. This can be damaging to the person who actually created the dance, as they are now seen as a liar or dismissed altogether.

Additionally, Money-B provided a timeline of events to support his claims. He stated Digital Underground had recorded the album "Sex Packets," which featured "The Humpty Dance," in 1989. They performed the dance on their tour with Queen Latifah that same year. Tupac did not join Digital Underground until the summer of 1990 when they toured with Big Daddy Kane, in which Queen Latifah was also involved. Money-B noted he wasn't mad at Queen Latifah at all for her comment.
