In the hip-hop community, the untimely deaths of rappers Notorious B.I.G and Tupac Shakur have always sparked controversy and curiosity. One FBI agent, Phil Carson, has garnered attention for his beliefs around the circumstances of the murders. Carson allegedly believed that Puff Daddy (now known as Diddy) was the initial target, rather than Biggie. Gene Deal took a dive into why people believe Carson's theory.

According to Deal, a man named Amir Muhammad approached Puff Daddy before the attack. The hitman did not usually reveal his intentions, suggesting that the target was indeed supposed to be Puff. The absence of visible security at the time seemed to make Puff an easy target. However, the hitman's sudden change in direction upon spotting someone behind a nearby bush raises questions. This unexpected encounter ultimately led to Biggie's death.

From there, Gene Deal claims to have never witnessed Puffy discuss or show any remorse regarding the death of Notorious B.I.G. This lack of acknowledgment is surprising, given the close relationship the two rappers shared.
