In 2008, Soulja Boy famously encountered intruders in his home. The incident was witnessed by Soulja Boy's old friend, Arab. Nine years later, Soulja Boy recounted the incident on VladTV, detailing his heroics while explaining to DJ Vlad that he became the aggressor once he grabbed his firearm.
“One n****a run to the front door. I hop out, I start shooting, shot the n***a,” Souja Boy recalled. “Shot his a**. All the n***as run out the door. This n***a on the floor. Walk up to this n***a, take his mask off his head. Looked at it, saw who it was. I’m like, ‘Damn.’ Shot his a** again. He [was] screaming and s***. I shut the door.”
Now, new evidence from Soulja Boy's folkloric tale has come to light and it tells a slightly different story. A written statement from the Atlanta-based rapper in 2008 reads, "I cut all the lights off and hid with my eyes closed."
