Two years ago, Crip Mac appeared on an episode of Mac Eats, a YouTube series hosted by China Mac, amid speculation that there was friction between the two. The nine-minute episode depicted Crip Mac, a 55th Street Crip, showing Crip Mac where to find the best Soul Food spots in South Central. It also underlined the obvious on-camera chemistry between the two. So, when Crip Mac was released from prison this Summer, the two rekindled their budding friendship and have since become social media gold.
Since his release from prison, Crip Mac has teamed up with China Mac for multiple hilarious clips summarizing their camping trips and visits to Southern California staples such as the Los Angeles Zoo, Halloween Horror Nights, and more. Someday, a TV producer may come along with an offer to take their friendship to a platform that can reach the masses and result in a significant payday. But for now, they seem pretty happy releasing material on the social media pages. This week, the guys took part in the "1990s Yearbook Challenge" before uploading the AI-generated photos together on Instagram.
