Jada Pinkett Smith is clearing the air about her relationship with Will Smith, revealing that they've been separated since 2016.
A clip from Jada's NBC News primetime special with Hoda Kotb surfaced online, where she revealed the news. Jada stated that she and Will were "still trying to figure out between the two of us, how to be in partnership." She added, "How do we present that to people? We hadn’t figured that out."
Jada would go on to say, "I think by the time we got to 2016, we we both just exhausted with trying. I think we were both kind of still stuck in our fantasy of what we thought the other person should be." She also revealed that she promised Will that there would never be a reason for them to divorce, with Jada adding, " I just haven’t been able to break that promise."
