Although Mr. Capone-E is primarily associated with some cultural aspects of Mexican-American culture, such as Chicano hip-hop and West Coast rap, he is the descendant of a Pakistani family that migrated to Southern California during his early childhood. In the following years, Mr. Capone-E eventually blended his life as a member of the Sureño gang with his love for Cholo rap. With those two factors playing dominant roles in his life, Mr. Capone-E became very familiar with street politics and the interworkings of a conflict with rival gangs.
On Tuesday, Mr. Capone-E weighed in on a conflict with stakes much higher than any dispute he's ever been a part of. The "Don't Get It Twisted" rapper took to Instagram and showed his unapologetic support for Palestine in the Garza-Israel war. Interestingly enough, he dropped a song called "Free Palestine" back in 2018, where he talked about historical disputes in detail.
