Former NFL player Sergio Brown was arrested on Tuesday (October 10) in San Diego after a warrant was served for the death of Brown's mother, according to TMZ.
CNN provided more information surrounding Brown's arrest, as they revealed that authorities found in Mexico, and he was deported. He is now expected to be extradited to Illinois to face charges related to the September death of his mother, Myrtle Brown.
This comes amid Brown posting videos while he appeared to be vacationing in Mexico while an investigation was being conducted into the death of his mother. While details surrounding his mother's death are sparse, authorities have ruled her death a homicide after her body was found near a creek with signs she was assaulted.
