Before White Dolemite gained notoriety on social media as a prankster who dared to approach grown men with racially charged banter as a practical joke unbeknownst to his subjects, he was an up-and-coming rapper called White Boy. As a touring musician, he worked with the likes of Kanye West. He also received critical acclaim from media outlets such as Billboard.
Nowadays, White Dolemite makes headlines as a comedic content creator who often ruffles feathers with his trademark "boy" prank. The way it works is White Dolemite, a person of Black and White descent, disguises himself as a farmer with overalls and a top hat, making it hard to tell that he's African American. He then adopts a stereotypical southern accent and a "Good Ole Boy" demeanor before approaching random Black people at various eateries, parks, and department stores. After White Dolemite hones in on his subjects, he barks an order in a condescending way by saying something like, "Hand me that pan, boy!" The encounter typically leads to threats or it treads very close to becoming violent before White Dolemite points out the hidden cameras and says, "It's a prank."
Previous victims of the "boy" prank include celebrities like Boosie, who was none too pleased about being called out of his name. That instance resulted in White Dolemite being punched in the face. This week, White Dolemite set his sights on Boosie's friend, T.I., his son King Harris, and Trae tha Truth, who were standing around in a parking lot before the prankster approached them while yelling out, "boy!" Unfortunately for White Dolemite, he received a dangerous response.
