It might be hard to believe, but the first episode of The Boondocks aired nearly twenty years ago on Adult Swim. Created by Aaron McGruder, the show could go on to become a cult classic while reinventing the careers of Regina King and the late John Witherspoon. Along the way, supporting characters like "The Booty Warrior" and Uncle Ruckus became fan favorites that remain talked about to this very day.
Back in February, Gary Anthony Williams, the actor who famously voiced the Uncle Ruckus character, explained why The Boondocks was not going to return to the air despite popular demands. Since then, the 57-year-old has delighted fans of the show, from time to time, with viral clips of himself voicing the witty adversary of Riley and Huey Freeman.
This week, Gary Anthony Williams went viral while voicing the character of Uncle Ruckus once again. This time around, he was joined on camera by WWE superstar Omos. With the two men standing side-by-side, Gary Anthony Williams began to playfully berate the 7'3" Nigerian-American pro wrestler as if he were Riley or Huey. Luckily for the 5'11" comedian, Omos was a good sport during the comedic interaction.
