In this clip, John "Boxer" Mendoza reacted to BG Knocc Out renouncing his Crip affiliation. BG, a regular guest on the show, noted that his turning point came during his last prison sentence, when he had to question whether his gang held more importance than his family. This moment of realization led to him renouncing his Crip affiliation. Mendoza similarly described his own transformative moment, noting how one eventually sees through the valueless and destructive nature of the gang lifestyle. After serving his time, he now focuses on helping younger individuals avoid the costly mistakes he made. However, he confessed that transitioning to a normal life was not without its challenges, citing how past criminal thoughts can sometimes resurface. Nevertheless, he emphasized the importance of discipline and self-restraint in ensuring he doesn't return to a life of crime.
