Dame will reportedly have to show up at a court in Oregon next month due to an order, with the court date happening on November 24, the same day as a Milwaukee Bucks game. The court date is in reference to the ongoing custody battle he is engaged in with his estranged wife over their three children.
According to court documents, Lillard's appearance is to “show cause why the Court should not grant” his estranged wife’s demands, including the possibility of giving Kay’La sole custody of their children. The hearing will also go over the possibility of paying attorney fees for Kay’La, custody, and parenting plans for the three kids. It was noted that the two have a prenuptial agreement and that Dame Lillard wants his estranged wife to revert to her original name.
